'ADOPT A DANCER' Project RSS LINK

We are pleased to provide this portal to assist you in sponsoring one or several talented dancers to defray or eliminate the cost of our workshops for a dancer of your choice.

Below, as part of our 'ADOPT A DANCER' project, we have published photos and details of especially talented dance students, from all over the world, that we hope you will help by making a donation that is directed to the dancer(s) of your choice. Your donation will go ONLY to the student you have picked. The student(s) that you sponsor will write e-mails or letters and include photos to share with you their progress and excitement in the ballet world.

One day, YOUR OWN dancer might become famous. Perhaps, your dancer will be the next Margot Fontaine or Rudolf Nureyev. You will have the bragging rights to tell your friends that you "helped them on their way up . . . "

Sponsors will also receive an 'Adoption Certificate' and a DVD of at least a few of the performances where "their" student danced that year. We will be happy to add a link to your company's website and your logo in all our 6 international websites.

How much should I contribute?

You are of course welcome to sponsor your adopted dancer(s) at any amount, such as the amount necessary to cover their tuition fee, their room and board, or any part of it. Every contribution for the dancers that require adoption is important and very much appreciated. Contributions can make the difference between a dancer's dream to be part of our workshops and actually being in one of our workshops.

Why send those kids to SIBA and not to local workshops where they live?

SIBA provides its students top-professional training that prepares them to become professionals. Moreover, SIBA prepares these young dancers to be ready for what is waiting for them in the hard world of professional dance. As a part of the training, there are four gala performances, and that means coveted stage-experience for each adopted dancer which is so helpful to provide them with the skills desperately needed in order to audition for international ballet companies.

Why is adoption important?

Our adopt-a-dancer program is our strategy to help these wonderful dancers gain the opportunity to develop their skills. Our program helps each dancer create international relationship between art sponsors and dancers; a relationship that will be benefit the dancers, the sponsors, and many audiences for years to come.
