Edward Nunes

The Brazilian Edward Nunes was born in Ponta Grossa. He received his training for dancers and choreographers in contemporary dance at the Escola do Teatro Bolshoi in Joinville, Brasil.

Edward Nunes created 9 choreographies which now belong to the Repertoire of the junior company in this time. «Already during the training, he worked also as a soloist among others as the mouse King in» the Nutcracker “choreographed by Vladimir Vasiliev, as well as in several contemporary choreographies by Cassi from abranches, Liliane Grammont, Luiz Fernando Bongiovanni, Alex Neoral, Jomar Mesquita or Philippe Trehet.

Edward Nunes won awards as best dancer in national and international competitions at the 2016 Dance Olympus Germany.

2015/2016 season, he worked for the company of the Bolshoi Brasil. There, he taught classical as well as modern dance.

Since the beginning of the season 2016/2017, he is a member of the ballet company of the Salzburger Landestheater.
