THE PROGRAM
This year’s theme will be Love scenes from famous ballets Classical ballet, Pointe, variations, repertoire, men technique, pas de Deux, modern / contemporary dance, choreography, make up, lighting,  and more….
SIBA students can audition to the Salzburg Ballet company !!!

News 2017 FACULTY
In addition to our permanent faculty which you all know and love… Peter, Sasha, and Ildiko. We are happy to welcome our new teachers:
Amelia Wanderlingh from Canada, Artistic director of the Vancliffen Arts Foundation, who will be teaching ballet, repertoire, variations, point and coaching,

Edward Nunes from Brazil, winner of the Berlin Tanz Olymp 2016 award will teach Contemporary Modern dance and Modern choreography.

Janos Misurak – from Sweden, will coach boy’s technique and teach ballet master classes.

Hanna Maria Brostrom  from Sweden  –  Massage therapist, Dance
Hanna will be available for students physical and mental care during the workshop. She is the director of the Dancepoint ballet school in Gothenburg, Sweden. Fully certified. Hanna is also an acclaimed opera singer and will participate in the Gala shows.

we only accept 80 students at SIBA, to give each and every one of you a more personal guidance and attention, so, hurry up!

SIBA REGISTERED STUDENTS – News 

Arrival at SIBA – Students under 16 years old arriving at Salzburg Airport can be picked up personally at the airport. Please send us your arrival/departure information by e-mail !

Students arriving at Munich airport: There is a door to door shuttle service, you can order it online HERE

All students: Please send us your arrival/departure information ! Also, please print the school address and Nili’s mobile phone and have it with you all the time: Herz Jesu Gymnasium – Schoenleitenstr. 1, 5020 Salzburg-Liefering. Tel: +43 676 939 7711

What to bring with you: (There is no specific dress-up for classes) Solo dancers, please bring your own costume, and music. (Only high quality music on a disk will be accepted! no copy music from YouTube, Facebook, Instegram or usb, etc. )For classes and Gala:

Girls, please bring a white Tutu, (if you don’t have one we will loan you one), different colors leotards, at least 3 pair of point shoes, dance shoes, knee-high black pants (for Bolero) and anything else you think you will need personally for classes and training.

Boys: 1 pair or more of black leotard pants, one long, one knee-high. 1 pair of grey pants, ballet shoes – 1 pair black, 1 pair skin color and whatever costume you need for your own solo if you have one.

2 OR 3 WEEKS WORKSHOP
We accept also students for the first 2 or 3 weeks, but not the last week.
** We have a special afternoon program for students who come only for the first 3 or 2 weeks who are not participating in the Gala shows, which will take place in the rehearsal hours.

We have a team of 3 cooks, and kitchen help, specializing in healthy tasty food, as well as special needs like Lactose, vegans, vegetarians etc., You must let us know on arrival if you have any preferences.
Please note: On Friday night no dinner, and on Saturday no lunch or dinner, there are plenty of places for food and dining in Euro park or the city.   food and dining room at SIBA
